Come take a seat at our huge Brunswick Bar, one of only a few left in the United States. Enjoy our crafted cocktails, an ice cold beer and our great eats from the Sweet Tea located on the State Street Side of the Fountain. When the weather co-operates, we can serve you on the patio.
Sweet Tea is constantly updating to the daily fresh produce and fine ingredients from around Wisconsin. The Southern Cuisine on the Menu changes daily, so you always can enjoy a new dish. Located right at next to the Front Bar on State Street, Sweet Tea provides the food and the Fountain Provides the Entertainment.
Cafe Coda fills a void in the jazz community and is now located at the Back Bar of The Fountain. Madison has been without a full-time, dedicated jazz venue — a place designed for listening, with an in-tune house piano, comfortable seats and no pool table or giant TV to compete with — for years…We are proud to bring Cafe Coda to the Fountain.
Located at 122 State Street in downtown Madison, The Fountain is a family-owned, Wisconsin-themed restaurant and bar. We are committed to comfortable atmosphere and hospitality, serving some of the best Wisconsin cuisine and drinks. Our music venue features weekly events with local musicians. The 1910 oak and mahogany bar at The Fountain was rescued from its original demolition-threatened Beaver Dam location. It was transported and reassembled at its new home in Madison in 2011. The bar was built by the Brunswick Corporation and approximately only 150 survive including the one here at The Fountain.
Sweet Tea’s at the Foutnain continually rotates their menu using the best seasonal ingredients. Please come visit and give the chef’s choice a try.
We have everything covered…3 unique spaces at the Fountain. We aim to please and each space has its very own special, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try them all no matter where you’re sitting. Take a seat on the patio, enjoy the unique front bar or enjoy the music cafe in back.
Some new things are happening at The Fountain. It’s not just food & drinks that we introduce or share with everyone, but the new music being played by our local musicians has been a blast. Take a look or subscribe to get continual updates.
